ABOUT ME

I’ve been teaching Pilates since June 2016, and over the years I’ve expanded my qualifications to include both pre- and post-natal Pilates, as well as reformer training.
My journey into teaching wasn’t a conventional one. I didn’t begin my career as a Pilates instructor, but I’ve always had a passion for fitness. I regularly attended Pilates classes, enjoyed spinning, outdoor circuits, and had a long-standing gym membership—but everything had to fit around my busy career and family life.
It was after experiencing back pain and prolapsed discs following pregnancy that I was advised to try Pilates to help strengthen my core. Initially, I didn’t notice much improvement. It wasn’t until I joined smaller, more focused Pilates classes that I truly began to feel the benefits. I loved the personal attention, the clear guidance, and the way my body gradually responded. That experience inspired me to make a complete career change and retrain as a Level 3 Pilates instructor.
Since then, I’ve never stopped learning. I regularly attend workshops and courses to deepen my knowledge and bring fresh ideas into my classes. I strongly believe in teaching the bodies in front of me—each class is shaped around the people in it. I keep my groups small to ensure individual attention, hands-on correction when needed, and a supportive environment where everyone can progress safely and confidently.
Today, I run a number of Pilates classes across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing clients develop greater body awareness, move more freely, and feel stronger week by week.
